The Board authorizes the use of corporal punishment. The Superintendent shall establish procedures for implementation of this policy.
The Superintendent may designate certificated staff members in the following positions to administer corporal punishment:
A. School administrator
B. Principal
C. Assistant principal
Each act of corporal punishment shall be documented and reported to the Governing Board by the Superintendent at least quarterly. Reports shall be maintained in the office of the Superintendent for a period of not less than three (3) years and shall be forwarded to the Department of Education upon request.
