Regular Education
The Governing Board recognizes that the pupil/teacher ratio is an important aspect of an effective educational program. It also recognizes that establishing and maintaining a satisfactory pupil/teacher ratio will help pupils achieve academically and will aid in the recruitment and retention of qualified teachers.
Special Education
It is the intent of the District to maintain a special education student-teacher ratio that will allow the teacher to work effectively and efficiently toward the individualized education program (IEP) objectives of each student with a disability and to work with classroom teachers to prevent learning problems whenever possible.
