The Board authorizes the administration to provide regular school bus transportation to and from school for the following categories:

A.  Students with disabilities who require transportation, as indicated in their respective individual education programs.

B.  For the following students attending school in the attendance area in which they reside:

1.  Kindergarten students who live beyond a one-half (1/2) mile surface distance from school.

2.  Students in grades one (1) through six (6) who live more than one (1) mile surface distance from school.

3.  Students in grades seven (7) through eight (8) who live more than a one and one-half (1 1/2) mile surface distance from school.

4.  Students in grades nine (9) through twelve (12) who live more than a one and three-fourths (1 3/4) mile surface distance from school.

C.  Transportation for homeless students to their school of enrollment, if it is the school of origin, will be arranged as needed by the school liaison for homeless students.
